mastermind JAPAN owner Masaaki Honma was one of the many avid fans of the Kamen Rider series when he was a young boy. With a history of successful collaborations with brands throughout the world, Honma now celebrates the 50th anniversary of the creation of Kamen Rider with a project pursuing perfection in everything from the color and tone of the figures to the details of the apparel designs. The five skull insignias on the backs of the T-shirts and coach jackets express deep admiration and respect for this 50th anniversary.
This project is a grand-scale collaboration between mastermind JAPAN and Bandai presented to all of humanity.
The MASTERMIND skull insignia embroidered on the hood gives a cool impression. The chest is also accented with an embroidered “super-deformed” design of Masked Rider No.1. With a Kamen Rider logo on the right sleeve and a MASTERMIND logo on the left sleeve, if you make the “henshin” transformation pose, the words line up to be readable together when seen from the front.
